Scheduled for completion in 2008. This project involves the repair of the concrete pavement on roughly 5 miles of I-287 both NB and SB.

This roadway will then get an asphalt surface course. The NB and SB bridge decks over Rt. 1 and Durham Ave. need to be replaced and nine others are scheduled for deck repairs.

The replacement of the decks over Rt. 1 requires the installation of a temporary bridge to handle two lanes of traffic in order to minimize the impact to the general public.

This project also includes a major upgrade to the state’s intelligent transportation system.
